The energy- and mass- dependences of the characteristic interaction radius (crossing radius) have been established. Differences in the behavior of the crossing radii of the real and imaginary parts of the optical potential with changes of the collision energy and of the target mass are shown. New experimental data of the differential cross sections of the 6Li(10B, 9Be)7Be reaction at the energy Elab.(10B) = 51 MeV for the ground and some excited states of 9Be were obtained. In result of the coupled reactions channels analysis of the data the parameters of the 9Be + 7Be interaction potential were determined.
