Research and testing toxicological center State enterprise "Scientific Center of Preventive Toxicolo-gy, Food and Chemical Safety of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" carried out histological studies in accordance with the DSTU EN ISO 10993-5:2015 standard, which did not reveal the toxic effect of Ti- and Zr-coatings on growth and vital activity of biological cells. The developed biocompatible two-layer rubber coatings will allow to increase the biocompatibility of endoprostheses, which in turn will speed up osseointegration and ensure their more reliable fixation in the bone.
