Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Object of study – quantum mechanism of selective detection in liquid media and data that contain information needed for the development of a method for quantum detection in liquid media. Methods of study – modeling of self-oscillating process of point-contact quantum commutation, on which operation of quantum sensor device is based; probability-based statistical analysis of dependence of the system resistance on time of point-contact exposition to the analyte medium (chronoresistograms of the cyclic switchover effect); calculation of conductance histograms as an output characteristic of quantum sensor device. A dependence of the most probable number of quanta in the Yanson dendritic point contacts, which are automatically synthesized in the cyclic commutation process, on concentration of the analyzed copper sulphate solutions is obtained. A graduation characteristic is calculated and its analytical model is proposed. Using lead acetate as an example, it is shown that the quantum mechanism of selective detection in complex media discovered by the project participants can be successfully applied to analyzing trace concentrations of heavy metals. Implementation of the innovative mechanism of quantum detection makes it possible to significantly improve the reliability and sensitivity of the analytical techniques and raise the capabilities of sensor devices to a qualitatively new level. Use of the described principles of quantum detection opens up an opportunity to develop a new generation of devices based on nanotechnology, which will greatly facilitate solving the problems of environmental monitoring.   Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2023-10-26 Close
