The purpose of the research work is to deepen the theoretical, organizational and methodological foundations of accounting and reporting in accordance with European initiatives. Work methods – analysis, synthesis, evaluation, induction, formalization, comparison, empirical knowledge, grouping, observation, etc. The generalized scientific result of the work is the development of proposals for the practical implementation of European initiatives in accounting. The scientific novelty of the conducted research lies in the substantiation of the provisions on record-keeping and reporting in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the EU Directives. The degree of implementation is at the level of development. Proposals and scientific-methodological recommendations regarding the organizational and theoretical-methodological aspects of the formation of integrated (non-financial) reporting were used for the purpose of forming reporting on sustainable development, which ensured the disclosure of non-financial information taking into account modern management requests of social and ecological content.
