It was found that the nature of the exfoliating salt affects the degree of functionalization of the obtained materials. For the first time, the possibility of mechanochemical preparation of graphene-like tungsten disulfide modified with folic acid (FA) (gWS2(FA)) is shown. For the first time, samples of graphene-like tungsten disulfide with a highly developed surface, modified with folic acid (gWS2(N,FA)) were obtained. The presence of FA molecules grafted onto the gWS2 surface was confirmed by IR, electron, and PL spectroscopy methods. It is shown that ultrasonic disintegration of modified gWS2(FA) and gWS2(N,FA) samples in water leads to the formation of mainly monolayer tungsten disulfide nanoparticles, which preserve the crystalline structure of WS2, which was confirmed by the TEM method. It was shown that gWS2 nanoparticles enhance the photoluminescence of folic acid in the blue part of the spectrum, which is very important for the diagnosis of cancer cells Product Description popup.authors Kurmach Mykhailo M.
