The object of the research: structural transformations in carbon and low-alloy construction steels during thermomechanical processing and their effect on operational properties, anisotropy of properties of titanium alloys under different loading schemes, the effect of the fractal dimension of the structure of materials on mechanical properties and the development of gas-thermal coatings of structures them materials. The purpose of the work is to improve the operational properties of structural materials by: - determining the anisotropy of the properties of titanium alloys under different loading schemes; - assessment of the influence of the stress state scheme on the level of residual stresses of titanium alloys; - optimization of the chemical composition and modes of heat treatment to obtain the structure of acicular ferrite in structural steels; - development of composition and technology of plasma sputtering of ceramic matrix composite for parts of gas turbine engines; - study of the kinetics of the formation and relationship of nano-sized elements with the kinetics of destruction of rolled metal in the ferrite-pearlitic structural state; - physical modeling of nano-sized elements on the kinetics of destruction of rolled metal for welded building structures; - modeling the structure and properties of materials using fractal theory. Research methods – metallographic analysis, diffraction electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, mechanical tests, statistical analysis, quantum chemical calculations, mathematical modeling.
