It was shown that the tuning of the PV effect in ferroelectrics by sample annealing and a proper choice of the experiment geometry with respect to the orientation of the domain walls becomes possible, which is very important for further enhancement of the PV efficiency of the potential solar cells based on ferroelectrics. The bulk PV effect (BPVE) coexisting with protonic conductivity was detected in LiH3(SeO3)2 ferroelectric. It was shown that the latter would be compensated by the cycling of the applied electric field sign. In the example of РАССС ferroelastoelectric the BPVE was for the first time realized in a new class of ferroics. It has been shown that the BPVE would be realized in the antiferroelectric MAPbI3 due to the generation of the ferroelectric state by preliminary irradiation of the sample by intensive UV light.
