The most common and harmful diseases of rapeseed in the conditions of the Carpathian region of Ukraine are snow mold (typhulosis), black leg (rhizoctoniosis), mildew (peronosporosis), black spotting (alternariosis), necrosis of the root neck (fomosis), white rot (sclerotiniosis), gray rot (botridiosis), light spotting (cylindrostoriosis), verticillosis and fusarium wilting. Less common diseases on rape are white spotting, powdery mildew, keel, black ring spotting, ordinary and wrinkled mosaic. The spread of most diseases depends on the weather conditions of the growing season and the technology of growing winter and spring rape. A significant part of phytopathogens is characterized by the ability to constantly form new forms, races and strains - with new indicators of virulence and pathogenicity. New forms are constantly formed and spread in nature as a result of natural processes - the variability of stabilizing selection. An analysis of the phytosanitary condition of rapeseed crops during the study period indicates that the incidence of diseases is constantly growing every year in proportion to the increase in its acreage. This gives grounds for in-depth study of bioecological features of pathogens, development and implementation of effective preventive measures to limit their development. Determination of pathogens on the affected parts of plants was carried out in the presence of signs of damage on them (developed mycelium of fungi, darkening or browning of the surface, etc.). The result of the work carried out is identified in pure culture and identified strains of fungi of pathogens: - alternariosis on leaves, stems and pods of winter rape and mustard plants; - fomose on flats and stems of winter rape; - sclerotiniosis on the stems of winter rape.
