WATER SUPPLY AND WASTEWATER SYSTEMS, CIRCULATING WATER SUPPLY, WATER SUPPLY NETWORKS, TWO-PHASE LIQUIDS, RIVER ECOSYSTEMS. The object of the study is circulating systems of water supply and sediment formation; water supply networks and flow distribution; liquid flows, their characteristics and calculation methods; river flow The purpose of the work is to improve the methods of calculation and operation of water supply and drainage systems; determination of influencing factors on the sedimentation intensity of circulating water supply; determination of effective flow distribution in water supply networks when water consumption increases; calculation of flows of natural and artificial riverbeds for making engineering decisions in the design and operation of hydrotechnical structures; restoration of natural riverbeds. Research methods - theoretical research, process modeling, improvement of calculation methods. Methods of modeling sediment formation in evaporative cooling systems are considered and compared. The properties of chemical reagents for adjusting the water composition of return water supply systems of industrial enterprises have been determined. It is shown that the search for effective flow distributions in water distribution networks at increased costs leads to a decrease in head loss and, accordingly, the lowest required head of pumps of pumping stations. The main characteristics of the flows of natural and artificial riverbeds, the conditions of uniform and non-uniform movement are determined. An analysis of the impact of individual factors on types of traffic and calculation methods was carried out. It is shown that the restoration of natural riverbeds leads to an increase in the area of water surfaces and, accordingly, to the reproduction of the natural balance of evaporation.
