For the conditions of the Left Bank Forest Steppe of Ukraine, it is better to use N370P370K450 application for the intensive technologies of growing sweet potatoes of the Slobozhansky Rubin variety, for the Admiral variety - use N130P130K130 + "Nutrvant Plus Universal" 2 kg/ha in 3 terms or applying humus 20 t/ha + ash 1 t/ha + microbial preparations. The use of various microbial preparations to optimize nutrition of sweet potato plants in organic growing technologies ensured an increase in the yield of marketable tubers by 2.8–5.1 t/ha or 15.8–29.8%. By using ridges and mulching the soil with black polyethylene film, the yield of sweet potato tubers was 34.8 t/ha; it was noted that the content of vitamin C (4.78 mg/100 g) and starch (11.73%) in the tubers increased, the labor costs for the formation of a unit of harvest decreased and are 1.95 man-minutes/kg of tubers). The effect of microbial preparations on the biochemical composition of tubers is ambiguous. A positive trend of using "Mycofriend" and jointly "Gumifriend" + "HelpRost for vegetables" to increase the content of dry matter in tubers was noted (18.66-19.12%). With the joint application of "Groundfix" + "Gumifriend" an increase in the content of total sugar in sweet potato tubers (4.32%), while the value of this indicator in the control was 4.06%. An increase in the starch content in tubers is provided by the use of "Help Rost for vegetables" both separately and together with "Mikofriend" (11.82–13.25%). With the joint application of "Groundfix" + "Gumifriend" a significant decrease in the content of starch in the tubers was noted (9.96%). For all variants of application of microbial preparations, a significant decrease in the content of vitamin C in tubers was noted from 6.18 mg/100 g. Product Description popup.authors Hanna V.
