Обґрунтування можливості застосування природних і техногенних матеріалів як закладного матеріалу кар’єрних пустот Head Petlovanyi Mykhailo V., Кандидат технічних наук Registration Date 19-12-2023 Organization Dnipro University of Technology popup.description1 To create a scientific-technical basis for the formation of a safe, stable filling mass from natural and technogenic materials based on a comprehensive research of their optimal physical and mechanical, as well as chemical properties and interactions for the effective restoration of lands disturbed by mining operations and improvement of the social-economic and environmental conditions in the mining regions popup.description2 The goal of the stage of the project is to identify, research and study the parameters and characteristics of the “quarry cavities – – backfill material” systems in the territory of Ukraine using a new comprehensive methodological tool, which forms the basis for the development of effective methods of restoring the earth’s surface with an emphasis on industrial and construction use. Research methods – collection, analysis and systematization of information data from the portal of the State Geological Service of Ukraine, registers of waste disposal sites in the regions of Ukraine, GIS-programs for studying the parameters of technogenic cavities and creating an information-analytical map, laboratory and experimental studies of backfill material. Results and their novelty: a new concept and theoretical representation have been formulated of the “quarry cavities – backfill material” system and the conditions for its harmonious existence and effective implementation; a new information-analytical map of the geospatial location of potential backfill materials and resulting quarry cavities on the territory of Ukraine has been created; the methodological tools have been developed to identify promising and select priority “quarry cavities – backfill material” systems; on the territory of Ukraine, 13 promising “quarry cavities – backfill material” systems have been identified, within the boundaries of which it is advisable to consider the implementation of technologies for backfilling technogenic cavities in order to restore the earth’s surface level; it has been further developed: methodology for theoretical, laboratory and field research to assess the safety of using low-hazard industrial waste as potential backfill materials. These developments are intended for mining enterprises that have disturbed the earth’s surface integrity as a result of mining operations and whose regions have created favourable conditions for the development of backfill technologies.
