The method involves the use of the most adapted species and varieties of grasses on slopes with acidic, low natural fertility soils. With sufficient resources, it includes liming the soil and creating an alfalfa-grass stand. If chemical soil reclamation is not possible, it includes sowing horned bentgrass, which is tolerant to high soil acidity. On limed areas, it provides a yield of 4.89-8.41, on non-alkalized areas with sowing of horned bentgrass - 4.06-6.25 t/ha of dry matter, depending on the mode of use of the grass stand. For permanent pasture use, it is more expedient to use a grass stand with sowing of horned bentgrass. For alfalfa-grass agrophytocenosis, it is necessary to use a variable or combined regime of grass stand use. On the limed plots, the share of sowing alfalfa was high during all three years of pasture use and amounted to 37.9-46.4%. On non-acidified pasture areas, the share of alfalfa was only 0.7-7.6%. Sowing of horned bromegrass proved to be quite effective, with a share of 12.6-21.4%. Combined and variable use of the grass stand allowed to maintain a higher share of the legume component compared to the constant pasture use of the grass stand.
