It was found that purebred cows of Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy breed for 305 days of the first three lactations had higher milk yields compared to their crossbred counterparts obtained by crossbreeding Ukrainian Black-and-White dairy cattle with bulls of Brown Swiss breed. The difference in their favor, in terms of lactations, ranged from 93.8 kg to 146.6 kg of milk. At the same time, crossbred cows outperformed purebred animals in terms of fat content in milk by 0.19% to 0.26% and protein by 0.14% to 0.19%. In general, the advantage on the side of crossbred animals in terms of total milk fat yield was 3.0-9.5 kg and total protein by 2.6-6.4 kg. When studying the effect of elevated temperature regimes on milk production and milk quality indicators of cows of different genotypes, it was found that the most negative effect on milk yield, fat and protein content in milk is the temperature regime of 32-37 ºС. Compared to the thermoneutral temperature of 18-23 °C, purebred animals reduced milk yield by 10.4%, fat by 0.15% and protein by 0.06%. In crossbred animals, the decrease in milk yield during the period of temperature load was 7.1%, fat and protein, respectively, 0.07% and 0.04%. The analysis of cow milk production under different types of feeding showed that the use of the same type of feeding provides an increase in milk yield by 533 kg of milk, fat content by 0.14% and 0.01% of protein compared to traditional technology. At the same time, when using the same type of feeding, the service period of animals increases by 14 days and the inter-hotel period by 15 days compared to the traditional feeding technology.
