The process of formation of fruit elements and individual productivity of maize plants depending on the action of organized factors and hydrothermal resources of the region is investigated. The links between the available hydrothermal resources of the region, technological methods of cultivation and productivity of maize hybrids of different maturity groups were established. Based on the results of the research, scientifically based measures to reduce the negative impact of environmental stress factors on the formation of productivity and grain quality of maize hybrids of different maturity groups have been developed, based on the selection of maize hybrids taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of the region, their sowing with the optimal plant density for the corresponding maturity group, and the use of nitrogen and trace elements in foliar fertilization. They provide, at the optimal plant density for the respective maturity group, an increase in grain yield of early-ripening hybrids by 11.7%, and of medium-early hybrids - by 9.2%. Foliar fertilization with nitrogen fertilizers (urea) in combination with sulfur in the form of liquid highly concentrated fertilizer in the phases of 5-6 and 8-9 leaves increased the yield of the early maturing hybrid DN Aton by 25.1%, the yield of the mid-early hybrid DN Astra by 26.6%, fat yield by 11.6 and 10.9%, and starch yield by 22.8 and 24.7%, respectively. Foliar fertilization with zinc in the form of a liquid highly concentrated fertilizer in the phases of 5-6 and 8-9 leaves increased the yield of the early-ripening hybrid DN Aton by 8.0%, and the mid-early hybrid DN Astra - by 8.4%.
