The research work was focused on the study of issues within the specific conditions of the local educational system - professional training of physical culture and sports specialists with projection and the possibility of adaptation to other dependent educational systems (preschool, school, postgraduate education). A complex of diagnostic measurements was carried out, which made it possible to determine the reserves for the development of the health-saving potential of the faculty's educational environment, as well as problems that need to be solved as a priority. The role and significance of the purposeful formation of a health-preserving educational environment in difficult socio-economic conditions in the country, which negatively affects the psychophysiological health of students, is revealed; the rapid growth of the educational load, which is associated with intensive mental activity; spread of bad habits among future specialists; non-observance of a healthy lifestyle by a large part of future specialists, didactogenic influences, etc., which lead to stressful situations, physical and mental exhaustion of subjects of study, which negatively affects the quality of education. During the implementation of the TOR, recommendations were developed regarding the use of the results of the conducted research in the field of preschool, general secondary and higher education, as well as prospects for further research and development.
