The purpose of the work is to consider the need for degassing of the excavation area of the northern bench of layer l7 of block 4 of the PЕ «Kapitalna Mine» and to develop recommendations for working out the northern bench of bed l7 of block 4 without the use of degassing. Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation on the development of the northern bench of the layer 17 of block 4 of the SE "Capital Mine" of the SE "Myrnogradvugillya" was analyzed. An analysis of the need to apply degassing of the excavation area of the northern lava of the layer 17 of block 4 of the PЕ «Kapitalna Mine» was performed. The "Conclusion on the conditions for stopping the degassing of the excavation area of the northern lava of the layer 17, block 4 of the PЕ "Capital Mine" was developed. It was agreed to stop the degassing of the excavation area of the northern bench of formation l7 of unit 4, subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for ensuring gas safety.
