It is shown that over the past 10–15 years, there has been a rapid spread of PVY and complex PVY infection in potato seed fields from 15.4% of all examined samples (including virus-free) to 61.73%, while an increase from 1– 5% to 15.4%, according to previous monitoring data, it took more than thirty years.The use of early periods of desiccation and the Avatar 2-protection nanopreparation in previous reproductions and in the current growing season contributed to a reduction in the damage of plants of the Myroslava variety by viral diseases by 2.9%, including mosaic twisting of potato leaves by 0.7%, in the case of the Fotinia variety, the reduction of damage viral diseases accounted for 2.6% of lesions in the control 4.7%, including mosaic twisting of potato leaves by 0.8% in the control, 1.3% of diseased plants were detected.
