It was established that there is no significant difference in the values ​​of the torsion angle of the talar head in normal and flat feet, the presence of a significant difference in the values ​​of the head adduction angle in normal and flat feet, as well as the possible influence of the latter on the instability of the peritalar zone. It was established that in cases of long-standing flat feet with degenerative changes in the joints of the rear section, when evaluating the result of surgical treatment, the main criteria are the dynamics of the pain syndrome and an increase in the volume of foot extension (patients with a good result of treatment, R = 0.68), only the pain syndrome (patients with a satisfactory result of treatment, R = 0.77), on the other hand, scientific indicators lose their significance.
