As a result of the analysis of the methods of obtaining complex-profile cast products, it was established that an effective method of manufacturing metal parts for the repair of military equipment is investment casting. In the case of small serial production, it is advisable to use 3D technologies to obtain one-off patterns, which eliminates the need to use expensive equipment. The materials used to manufacture ceramic molds in modern production have been analyzed. It was determined that the majority of Ukrainian enterprises use alcohol-based ethyl silicate as binders in the manufacture of ceramic molds, while in Europe they use water-based colloidal silica. Based on the literature review, it was established that water-based colloidal silica has several advantages. Ceramic molds made using it have higher dimensional accuracy than molds based on ethyl silicate, and they also show high heat resistance and good resistance to thermal shock. One of its most important features is the long service life of suspensions based on it and the absence of a transition to the gel phase. Using water-based binders eliminates fire safety and emissions cleanup issues because they do not contain volatile solvents. Water-based Remasol binding components were selected for the experiments, which will be used for the manufacture of ceramic molds from such refractories - quartz, disten-sillimanite, zircon and electrocorundum. Technological features of preparation of suspensions with water-based binders, application of layers on disposable models, sprinkling and drying are determined. Methods for researching the technological properties of suspensions (viscosity, density) and ceramics (flexural strength in the raw state and after firing, gas permeability) have been determined.
