In particular, this refers to international activities within the framework of GFCM, CACFish, NAFO, CCAMLR and CITES. Without appropriate scientific and analytical support, it is impossible to successfully protect the national interests of Ukraine in the field of fisheries. Such protection consists in: - providing a legal field of activity for fishing by Ukrainian vessels in the industrial areas of the World Ocean, the Black and Azov seas; - ensuring the performance of the functions of the CITES scientific body regarding sturgeon species of fish and their products; - in support of domestic producers of fish products to ensure their competitiveness alongside foreign producers. The report provides scientific materials for the participation of Ukrainian representatives in the activities of the CCAMLR, NAFO, GFCM, CACFish, CITES.
