It is shown that the application based on the system approach of generalized loop currents as independent state coordinates made it possible to form an effective mathematical model of a new power supply system with an additional working transformer of the power unit's own needs for the analysis of characteristic starting modes. The obtained research results confirmed the possibility of effective application of such a power supply system for the power unit's own needs Mathematical experiments on the developed digital model confirmed that during the start-up of the PU from the AOTON, as in traditional schemes of power plants, the power supply voltage level sufficient for the normal operation of the power receivers is ensured on the sections of the distribution charter of own needs of the first stage of transformation mechanisms, own needs of PU and power plants. It is shown that the application of boundary conditions of the second kind for solving the differential equations of a three-phase high-voltage transmission line with lightning protection cables makes it possible to search for unknown functions of the voltages of the lightning protection cables at the beginning and at the end. This makes it possible to solve the equations of the electromagnetic state not only for phase wires, but also for lightning protection cables. This systematic approach makes it possible to fully take into account the lightning protection cables in the mathematical model of the line and to study the transient electromagnetic processes at any point of the line, as well as to reproduce the spatial and time-space distributions of voltages and currents of the lightning protection cables and phase wires.
