Intelligence research allowed to identify the actual problems of managing social services in the context of war in Ukraine. It was proved that it is important to introduce regular monitoring and evaluation technologies for activity of social services, fundraising, and organization of work with volunteers. Personnel work in social services remains important due to increased occupational risks, overload, severe emotional distress and deterioration of mental health of professionals. It is found that the management of these organizations is increasingly based on the principles of a situational approach. Four possible strategic options for the activities of social services in the context of war in Ukraine were characterized.
