The aim of the work: studying the inactivation of viruses during the processing of plant waste in the context of biological safety. Methods of the research: virological, serological, molecular, and statistical methods. The project is aimed at studying methods of decontamination of plant resources for reuse by selecting an experimental mixture of anaerobic microorganisms for more effective anaerobic fermentation of plant biomass and studying the potential antiviral activity of promising nanocompounds (water-soluble fullerenes and titanium dioxide nanoparticles). For the first time, the possibility of partial inactivation of environmentally resistant tobamoviruses in plant bioresources for reuse due to the optimization of the mixture of anaerobic microorganisms has been demonstrated. It was established that potential antiviral nanocompounds (water-soluble fullerenes and titanium dioxide nanoparticles) do not exhibit pronounced virulicidal activity and are not effective in the context of plant virus inactivation in anaerobic fermentation systems. It has been confirmed that the experimental augmentation of a mixture of anaerobic microorganisms contributes to the anaerobic fermentation of plant residues, which ensures a decrease in the viral load in the system and a more effective inactivation of plant viruses.   Product Description popup.authors Iryna Н.
