These are five nuclear power plants, where 15 nuclear reactors operate, dozens of hydroelectric power plants and hundreds of thermal power plants, dozens of chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical plants. In addition, there are hundreds of railway and road bridges, other hydraulic engineering and communication structures in Ukraine. All these man-made and communication facilities are objects of the state's critical infrastructure, which are protected. Now, in the conditions of armed aggression, the task of protecting and defending these objects is no longer against terrorists, but specially trained subversive-reconnaissance and sabotage groups. The main goal of the performed scientific research was to develop a new information and technical method of preventing emergency situations of a terrorist nature using databases of motor vehicles obtained from video surveillance systems.
