The application of fractional-order transfer functions to approximate the voltage divider model based on a supercapacitor has been investigated. An approach to synthesizing control system loops based on fractional characteristic polynomials has been developed, allowing for achieving desired transient process quality, and corresponding research has been conducted. A methodology for synthesizing electromechanical systems with cascaded fractional-order controllers has been developed and studied. A technique for parametric synthesis of fractional-order controllers and their implementation in a frequency converter - asynchronous motor system has been developed. The use of continued fraction expansion to decompose the characteristic polynomial into a fractional-order two-term form has been explored, enabling the approximation of the corresponding desired fractional transfer function and the approximation of the transfer function of the PIλDμ fractional-order controller using continued fractions. Parametric synthesis of fractional-order controllers for a two-mass electromechanical system for rotating the basket of fire lifts has been investigated.
