With the use of modern methods developed in scientific schools of Ukrainian and Slovak project executors in the fields of thermomechanics of heterogeneous structures and non-classical theories of continuum mechanics, approaches have been developed to assess the influence of accumulated nano-, micro-, and meso-inhomogeneities on macro-indicators, taking into account size effects, which cannot be to be carried out using averaging methods. Efficient methods of studying the thermomechanical behavior of multi-layer structurally nonhomogeneous cylindrical solids are developed without a priori imposition of functional restrictions on the nature of the distribution of material properties within each layer. Problems for functionally graded materials were formulated and solved, which open up the possibility of developing methods for analyzing the effective parameters of the distribution of phase materials, respectively to the requirements of construction operation. For specific dependences of the thermal and mechanical characteristics of the material on the radial coordinate within the layers, numerical testing of the proposed method of solving problems of thermal conductivity and thermal elasticity was carried out.
