The ranges of properties of aerosol particles during elevated pollution levels were evaluated. These data made it possible to estimate the size of aerosol particles and make assumptions about their nature. An assessment of the impact of aerosols on regional climate changes in Ukraine and Eastern Europe and the level of atmospheric pollution in large cities of Ukraine was made. The intercalibration of the Dobson spectrophotometer at the Hohenpaisenberg Meteorological Center (Germany) was carried out, and a statistical comparative analysis was carried out with the OMI/Aura satellite data. Polarimetric measurements of the Sun's radiation scattered by the celestial sphere were made using the polarimetric module MSIP 555r directed at the zenith. During the field experiment on October 31, 2022, distributions of the intensity, degree (DoLP) and azimuth (AoLP) of linear polarization of light scattered by the atmosphere were obtained in the field of view of the 60°x60° MSIP module. The analysis of the results of the field experiment on October 31, 2022 with the MSIP module showed a high maximum degree of polarization (up to 0.85) of solar radiation at angles of 90° relative to the direction of the Sun and a qualitative agreement of the measured DoLP distribution with the calculated one. In the future, it is planned to provide metrological support for monitoring devices and ensure the continuity of their work, it is planned to complete the production of MSIP modules with other spectral bands, and to extend the work on laboratory calibration of modules in order to improve their metrological characteristics.   Product Description popup.authors Ivanov Yuriy S.
