The purpose of the work is to study samples of the lupine gene pool according to the main valuable economic traits in the conditions of the left-bank Polissya of Ukraine, to select the most valuable forms for their further use in lupine breeding as sources of selected traits and to update existing collections. Research methods - field, laboratory and methods of mathematical statistics. 24 samples were studied and selected - sources of early maturity, high productivity in terms of seeds and green mass, low content of alkaloids, high resistance to fusariose and anthracnose, tall stature, the level of which exceeds or is at the level of indicators of reference varieties for the specified characteristics. The lupine feature collection has been updated. Based on the results of the research, a catalog was prepared in which the characteristics of 75 collection samples of white lupine from the IAMAP NAAS collection are given according to the main economic and valuable characteristics. The data on the assessment of collection samples according to early maturity, seed productivity, yield of green mass, plant height and resistance to diseases are given. Six selection lines of lupine, characterized by a complex of the best expressed economic and valuable features, have been selected and will be transferred to the National Center of Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine as valuable samples for registration. During 2021-2023, seeds of 23 lupine samples were transferred to the NCPGRU for long-term storage. During the period from 01.01.2021 to 01.11.2023, 22 specimens of domestic origin were involved in the lupine collection of IAMAP NAAS. All newly introduced collection samples are certified and included in the database of the lupine gene pool.
