Clustering of twenty-four traits revealed six clusters. The content of lycopene in fruits belongs to the fourth cluster, which includes the following characteristics: "content of dry soluble matter", fruit characteristics: height, width, number of chambers, diameter of the core in a cross section, as well as "number of inflorescences on the main stem", "number of fruits on the second tassel", "laying height of the first tassel". Signs that can be used to select samples with an increased content of lycopene in fruits according to the data of correlation analysis can be: the color of the fruit during ripening, the intensity of the green color of the fruit before ripening, and the color of the flower. This makes it possible to optimize the breeding process. An electronic database of twenty-four quantitative and fifteen qualitative characteristics of tomato morphological, biometric, and economic-value characteristics was created. In the nursery of the competitive variety test, the lycopene content of the fruits was found to be significantly higher than the values of the standard variety in all the studied samples. Samples No. 2 (11.68 mg/100g), No. 5 (8.79), No. 8 (8.54), No. 3 (8.51), No. 11 (8.47 mg/100g) had the highest lycopene content. Product Description popup.authors Donchuk Yulia V.
