The purpose of the research work is to study value orientations, guidelines, the level of socio-psychological tension of the population of the SZ NPP and their significance in the complex of health-forming factors during the period of martial law. Research methods: sociological, socio-psychological, analytical, mathematical. With the beginning of the war, a restructuring of the hierarchy of terminal values took place - the value of independence and freedom moved from 5th place before the war to 2nd. The component integrity of values among the urban population is independence and freedom, as a goal, and perseverance and hard work as a means. For a villager, the value of health is both the main goal in life and a tool for achieving it. The guidelines for maintaining health are fully consistent with the chosen component integrity of values. The level of socio-psychological tension of the population of the SZ SUNPP during the period of martial law increased compared to the pre-war period. Its indicators are correlated with factors affecting the state of health. The consequences of war, the radiation situation, material well-being, and uncertainty about the future have the greatest impact on health. The structure of the GHQ28 scales has changed: on the first - anxiety, then social dysfunction and somatization. Among the diseases discovered for the first time in the first place are mental disorders, followed by diseases of the nervous system, blood circulation and digestion. The respondents have a high level of resilience, where psychological resilience is higher than physical. The urban population is more viable than the rural population.
