The aim of the work is to improve the organization of the two-phase flow in the gas jet shredder tracts and raw material preparation methods to improve the quality of grinding products. Research methods are numerical and experimental studies. The analysis of various methods of improving the quality and efficiency of gas jet grinding of products revealed the possibility of creating a new ejector device with improved characteristics aimed at organizing a two-phase flow in the shredder's tracts. Numerical and experimental studies confirmed the effectiveness of using a rational organization of the material flow at the entrance to the grinding chamber to improve the quality of gas jet grinding. Based on the modernization of the ejector design of the jet shredder, a method of increasing its efficiency has been developed. A technique for determining the distribution function by size class for finely dispersed materials, regardless of their physical properties, which allows for control of size, has been proposed. The scientific significance of the results lies in the development of a gas-dynamic method of controlling gas flows in the tracts of a gas-jet grinding, which provides the possibility of controlling the gas-dynamic parameters of the flow; uniform acceleration of bulk material particles; reducing the wear of structural elements of the shredder, as well as in the development of material quality control methods in the technological cycle of mineral processing. The practical significance lies in the development of recommendations for increasing the efficiency of material preparation and the organization of two-phase flow in the tracts of the gas jet shredder.
