The subject of the study is the purpose, features and main problems of the implementation of the dialogue of cultures and the formation of a culture of dialogue in modern Ukrainian society. The purpose of the research is to prove the constructive role of the dialogue of cultures and the need to form an autonomous space of dialogue culture in order to preserve the cultural and civilizational integrity of modern Ukraine as a state and society, and to determine the prospects for the development and functioning of this dialogue. The scientigic research are: — Study of the formation of dialogue culture in the context of world and Ukrainian philosophical traditions; — Analysis of the historical logic of ideas about the dialogue of cultures and its reproduction in humanitarian knowledge; — Analysis of the regularities of the formation of the culture of dialogue and the measure of the productivity of the dialogue of cultures in the conditions of globalization; — Identifying the role of interfaith dialogue in the Ukrainian political-cultural space; — Analysis of the ethical aspects of dialogue culture, in particular the role of the peculiarities of the functioning and transformation of the principles of tolerance in dialogic discourse; — Determination of the role of semiotic methodology in the process of formation of dialogic culture and its reproduction in the Ukrainian space; — Outlining the range of communicative strategies in the formation of a culture of dialogue; — Revealing the role of the social myth in the realization of the dialogue of cultures in Ukraine; — Determining the role of dialogic discourse to ensure cultural security of a multicultural region. Based on the results of a planned study — 51 publications, in particular the collective monograph "Dialogue of cultures and the culture of dialogue in the age of globalization" (Kyiv, 2023).
