The aim of the work is to create a design and theoretical apparatus for designing effective large-sized combined pile and slab foundations, taking into account the development of new design solutions for foundations, methods and methods of their calculation and modeling in the system "base - foundation - structure" ("BFS"), methods of testing soils and comprehensive experimental justification. Based on the conducted theoretical and experimental studies, the main scientific and practical results of Stage 2 are as follows: - the model of the soil base has been improved in the form of a combination of a solid linearly deformed layer of finite distribution capacity and Fuss-Winkler, and the methodology for modeling the subsystem "base - foundation" with consideration of the nonlinear behavior of its elements "before" and "after" the connection of the raft and piles (constructive nonlinearity) to determine the stress-strain state of the foundation in modern calculation complexes. The model was tested and experimentally justified on a real construction site, confirming the universality of the model with a relatively simple approach to modeling such interaction; - results of temperature monitoring during the concreting of densely reinforced concrete structures of massive foundations have been obtained, where gradients up to 35-40 °C were recorded without the appearance of temperature-shrinkage cracks on their surface; - an approved theoretical framework for the design of efficient combined pile and slab foundations has been developed, which is the basis for the corresponding project of the DSTU-N B V.2.1-10:2018 "Guidelines for the design of combined pile and slab foundations for multi-story (high-rise) buildings and structures" to DBN V.2.1-10:2018.
