Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The object of research is the process of obtaining and analyzing the reflectance and RCS coefficients of complex objects in the centimeter and millimeter range in the near and far zones. The purpose of the work is to create new methods of processing the results of measurements in the near zone of the scattering characteristics of an object of a complex shape and synthesis of recommended means/methods to reduce the visibility of the investigated object in the far zone. Techniques for combining experimental results with the results of numerical modeling of wave scattering on complex objects are being developed. The method of calculating the characteristics of scattering of electromagnetic waves on objects of complex shape is given. Scattering characteristics of typical reference reflectors were obtained, these characteristics generally coincide with the dependencies obtained under the same conditions using analytical methods. The definition of the effective scattering surface is considered, and the formulas for the system of two point scatterers and N scatterers are also derived. Numerical calculations performed according to these equations are presented. A model of a real object was created using different positions of several point reflectors, which can be further used in the modeling of complex structures. The interaction of antennas in the near zone and the possibility of increasing and decreasing the interaction between them in order to obtain more functional antenna systems for various purposes, in particular for the needs of radar, are considered. The finite difference method in the time domain – FDTD – was used to model the interaction of antennas. Experimental methods of determining the RCS of a complex large-scale radar object are considered, their advantages and disadvantages are described. The results of measurements on a real object were used as input data for the model built at the first stage of work. Product Description popup.authors Bagatska Olga V. Bykov Viktor M.
