Subject of research: content and technologies of preschool education and upbringing of children with visual impairments. The purpose of the study: to theoretically substantiate and develop personality-oriented technologies of preschool education and upbringing of children of early and preschool age with visual impairments. Research methods: theoretical: logical-semantic; system-structural, structuralfunctional and structural-logical methods; methods of analysis and synthesis; classification methods. Empirical: pedagogical observation, study and analysis of pedagogical experience of educational, correctional and developmental and treatment and prevention work; questionnaires of students, teachers, parents, psychotraining, pedagogical experiment; quantitative and qualitative scientific analysis, statistical processing of the obtained results. Research results and their novelty: axiological approach is used as a methodological basis for the development and functioning of the personality of a preschool child in conditions of visual deprivation.
