Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The project envisages solving a number of problems in the theory of the electromagnetic field and applied electrodynamics, which are aimed at establishing important physical regularities, the knowledge of which is necessary for the creation of multifunctional elements, frequency-selective surfaces and radiating systems of microwave and terahertz ranges with the inclusion of multilayered artificial media (metamaterials) and planar ultrathin films of the new generation. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to carry out a complex of researches (theoretical and experimental) to identify new physical regularities of wave processes in complex metal-dielectric structures with variations in a wide range of geometric dimensions, material constants and frequency parameters. It is expected that the data obtained during the implementation of the project will make it possible to create a fundamental basis for the design and creation of reliable, high-tech, structurally perfect, small-sized multifunctional elements, frequency-selective surfaces and radiating systems of microwave and terahertz ranges of a new generation, which would be competitive on world level. These data, based on their scientific and scientific and technical components, will allow to develop physical (radiophysical) technologies for various fields of application, including the military-industrial sector.
