The role of sphingosine-1-phosphate as a biomarker of poor prognosis in prostate cancer patients and the effectiveness of intensity-modulated radiation therapy were determined. S1P levels in normal tissues have been found to be significantly higher compared to prostate cancer. There is a significant correlation between serum prostate-specific antigen and tumor tissue S1P in prostate cancer. S1P is synthesized in prostate cancer tumor tissue 2 times less than in the surrounding tumor tissue. After radiation therapy, its level in the prostate tumor increases 3 times, and in the surrounding tissue tumor by 1.5 times, which indicates the development of a radiation-induced bystander effect. We studied the relationship between the renin-aldosterone and enkephalinergic systems in patients with kidney cancer, urolithiasis, and nephropathy against the background of rheumatoid arthritis. The strongest prognostic biomarker of eGFR reduction <40 ml/min/1.73 m2 was plasma renin activity.Met-enkephalin had a high prognostic efficiency for evaluating the development of end-stage renal failure in patients with nephrolithiasis. The level of plasma renin activity was an independent predictor of reduced glomerular filtration rate in patients with ureteral stones, patients with rheumatoid arthritis nephropathy, and cancer-specific mortality in patients with renal-lithic cancer. The level of alpha-1-antitrypsin in the blood was significantly higher in renal cell carcinoma patients with type 2 diabetes than in healthy donors and renal cell carcinoma patients without type 2 diabetes. The obtained data convincingly demonstrate the value of testing the level of alpha-1-antitrypsin in the blood as Product Description popup.authors Balabanova Kateryna Vitalyivna Karasеv Ihor Eduardovych Moraru-Burlesсu Roman Petrovych Seryogina Nataliya Mykhailivna Frolova Inna Volodymyrivna Chernykh Yuriy Anatoliyovych Shipilov Kostyantyn Viktorovych Yusef Rami Muhammad Salim popup.nrat_date 2024-01-16 Close
