The aim of this stage is the development of theoretical and numerical models to describe the processes of transport and motion of nanoparticles in the afterglow plasma taking into account that their charging is a stochastic process; investigation of motion and deposition on the surface of nanoparticles in afterglow plasmas using these models; experimental studies of the formation and transport of H– ions in plasma near the metal hydride cathode; relativistic generalization of neoclassical transport theory for toroidal systems. Research methods are analytical, numerical and experimental. We have developed physical and numerical models to describe the processes of charging and motion of nanoparticles in the afterglow plasma, taking into account that their charging is a stochastic process. With the help of these models, the motion and deposition on the surface of nanoparticles in the afterglow plasma at different sizes of nanoparticles and different densities of electrons and ions of plasma have been studied. The regularities of the influence of the metal hydride cathode on the processes of transport and formation of negative hydrogen ions in plasma have been established, a method and a numerical model for calculating the trajectories of negative ions for their separation in the flux of charged particles leaving the plasma have been developed. A new method for solving the linearized relativistic drift-kinetic equation in toroidal plasma and closing the system of transport equations have been proposed.
