Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  An analysis of the rotational properties of known V-asteroids was conducted and a total sample of 636 objects was formed for which the rotation vectors are known. This sample was used to analyze two regions: scattered resonances region I and low inclination region II, which are associated with dynamic migration paths of objects from the Vesta family. According to the results of the analysis, it was possible to establish that in regions I and II there are 78%±11% and 38%±13% of retrograde rotators, respectively. This is in remarkably good agreement with numerical simulations of the escape routes of the Vesta family, confirms the small number of nonvestoids in the main belt, and points to the possible location of a forming of the objects of this type near the Sun. An analysis of the physical homogeneity of 107 main belt asteroid families was performed. About 70% of these families are found to be homogeneous, and about a third have a heterogeneous taxonomic composition. Among heterogeneous families, a significant share of members (10-30%) belongs to low-albedo asteroids. Numerical simulations for bodies with super-fast rotation, belonging to the Flora clan, showed the absence of a genetic connection between them at an interval of up to 10 million years. Further research is needed to clarify the nature of such an excess among the Flora clan, as other families at the same heliocentric distance (Vesta, Niza) do not have such an excess. According to the program of an addition of the Kharkiv database of asteroid absolute magnitudes, new data for 20 asteroids were calculated and added. An analysis of the absolute magnitudes of asteroids of the Kharkiv database with data in the HORIZONS database of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL, USA) was carried out. The presence of a systematic deviation and a linear dependence of the deviations with increasing magnitude is shown. The HORIZONS database can be used after obtained corrections.
