The objects of research are dosimetric materials based on Li2B4O7, LiF, Al2O3 and dosimetric characteristics of M-30 radiation fields. The aim of the work was to study the possibility of using TL dosimetry and the phenomenon of phosphorescence to control mixed radiation fields of medical accelerators, modeling radiation factors on the M-30 microtron to ensure the radiation safety of patients and staff of radiotherapy centers, using dosimetric materials of Li2B4O7, LiF and Al2O3. The research method is a cycle of work at the M-30 microtron (4–18 MeV) on the implementation and dosimetric control of flows of mixed nuclear (electron, gamma and neutron) radiation with adjustment of the contribution of each component, thermoluminescent dosimetry, optical methods, nuclear gamma-spectroscopy, theoretical modeling of nuclear transformations. The possibility of using TL dosimetry to control the radiation characteristics of the M-30 microtron during the generation of streams of electron, gamma, and photoneutron radiation has been established. The importance of taking into account the centers of non-radiative and radiative recombination of current carriers in dosimeters is shown. The sensitivity of the studied dosimeters to gamma and mixed neutron-gamma radiation fields, which is present in the practice of radiation therapy, was established. A dosimetric screening of the radiation conditions of medical accelerators was carried out on the example of the communal Transcarpathian Cancer Center, Uzhhorod. There is a corresponding act of implementing the obtained results into the practice of radiation therapy of a medical institution.
