N. Sokolovsky» popup.description2 The object of research is the process of managing the agricultural plants nutrition through the improvement of the balance of mineral nutrition diagnostics. The purpose of the work is development of measures for integrated management of the plants nutritional status using spatially differentiated information on the state of moisture supply and agrochemical properties of soils. Research methods - comparative and statistical research methods, short-term and long-term observations of soil and agrochemical processes in field experiments. The theoretical results are summarized in the materials of own research and numerous publications in the field of studies of the stoichiometry of soil and plant nutrients for the analysis of the efficiency of the nutrients consumption by plants during the growing season; the impact of spatio-temporal variability of soil moisture supply on the ratio of the main nutrients in it is determined. Practical results: modern tools for assessing the imbalance of plant nutrition were tested and the practical use of one of them was given, and a comparison was made with the most common methods in Ukraine for interpreting the content of nutrients in winter wheat plants. Novelty – a method of diagnosing the balance of mineral nutrition of field crops has been developed to optimize the fertilization of field crops based on the ratio of the main elements of mineral nutrition. The efficiency of implementation is an increase in the intensity of NPK consumption by plants (1.3-1.5 times) with an increase in the yield by fertilizers about 40-70%. The research results have been tested for on the experimental fields SE "DG "Grakivske" NSC "ISSAR named after O.N. Sokolovsky" Kharkiv region, and also tested in the educational process of the Uman National University of Horticulture. The field of application is agriculture.
