Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Library of Ukraine popup.description2 At the first, analytical and interpretive, stage of the research, for the first time a program of the complex interdisciplinary scientific research, which consists of four subtopics, was developed in order to highlight and actualize the scientific potential of historical-pedagogical studies on biography as components of the axiology of education, the modern development of the humanistic educational paradigm; the historiographical and source base of the research was formed (collected, classified, systematized) and characterized; the criteria for organizing the encyclopedic dictionary, the epistolary of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi, biobibliographic information about Maria Montessori were determined; it has been found out that pedagogical biography is a carrier of national-patriotic consciousness; biographical online projects in social networks contribute to the restoration and preservation of the national memory and consolidation of the Ukrainian society; the filling of the virtual reading room of V. Sukhomlynskyi Foundation continued with the aim of presenting a comprehensive presentation of the development of Sukhomlynistics in the educational and scientific space of Ukraine and the World. Acquired further development: theoretical-methodological approaches to conducting biographical research as an inseparable part of historical-educational studies; integral and systematized presentation of the achievements of domestic and foreign pedagogical science and education for the consolidation of biographical information about well-known and little-known personalities on the pages of an encyclopedic biographical dictionary, a popular scientific publication, a bio-bibliographic index, and an electronic resource; identification and presentation of biographical information about well-known and little-known correspondents of V.
