Objective: to find out the leading mechanisms and identify factors of importance in somato-sexual development disorders of today’s adolescents with type 1 diabetes based on the analysis of clinical and anamnestic data, hormonal and metabolic guides and the results of genetic research. Methods: anamnestic, genealogical, clinical, anthropometric, biochemical, hormonal, statistical. Results: provided adequate correction of carbohydrate metabolism disorders and a high level of self-control, they have harmonious physical development and the physiological course of puberty. Disruption of the pubertal period in adolescents with type 1 diabetes occurs when type 1 diabetes occurs before the age of 7 or in the prepubertal period, under the conditions of persistent decompensation of carbohydrate metabolism, lack of self-control skills, against the background of increased frequency of chronic complications and thyroid gland pathology. The leading mechanisms and the most significant signs regarding the prognosis of the course of puberty have been determined, which are combined in the tablis. An individual approach to the prevention of physical and sexual development disorders in adolescents with T1DM has been developed. Novelty: for the first time, a personalized appointment of diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic measures for adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus was proposed for the purpose of prevention of disorders of somato-sexual development.
