The J-aggregates of TDBC and PIC cyanine dyes in a nematic liquid crystal matrix were obtained, and the optical-fluorescence and electro-optical properties of the studied systems were analyzed. It has been shown that the LC systems of TDBC and PIC cyanine dyes demonstrate a long lifetime and high photostability. Studies of the electro-optical characteristics of the LC systems doped with the studied dyes have shown that the Friedrichs transition threshold does not actually change, but is accompanied by an increase in the "sharpness" of the electrical conductivity jump.
