The basis for conducting research is the priority tasks of the National Transport Strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030, which envisions "Innovative development of the transport sector and global investment projects." In this context, the primary and priority task for the railway industry is to expand scientific research on innovative technologies in organizing high-speed train movements in Ukraine. The aim of the work is to investigate innovative processes, the implementation of which in the railway industry of Ukrzaliznytsia will intensify promising directions of activity. The research object is the process of implementing innovative technologies in organizing high-speed train movements in Ukraine. The subject of the research includes methods, technical means, and innovative technologies that can be effectively used in the reconstruction of existing railways. Scientific results. The study applies innovative approaches to analyzing global experience, investigating prerequisites for scientific and technical support for sustainable development of railway transport in the "Ukraine-EU" connection. Methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of railway infrastructure reconstruction and reducing energy consumption in domestic and international transportation have been developed. Scientific novelty. The work has gained a new understanding of the research subject, which involves defining parameters and directions for the development of Ukraine's railways for integration into the European transport system. New knowledge in this work is based on scientific approaches such as comprehensive and detailed study of various aspects of well-known innovative methods, identifying differences in the operation of railway transport in European countries that directly border Ukraine. This has provided the opportunity to develop measures to enhance interoperability between Ukrainian and European transport systems.
