The subject of the research is conceptual approaches, methods and tools for modernization of the strategy of structural transformation of the economy of Ukraine in the conditions of new challenges and risks caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The scientific results characterizing the scientific novelty of the GDR are the following: The concept of forming a strategy for the structural transformation of Ukraine's economy in the context of a pandemic is substantiated on the basis of a comparative analysis of approaches to understanding the meaning of the concept of structural transformation in a globally modified system.The theory of international economic relations has been deepened in terms of revealing the structural imbalances of the external sector as a result of insufficient internal transformations. The concept of the network economy was revealed and a conceptual model for building a strategy for the development of business entities was developed. Methodological approaches were developed for the comprehensive assessment of the impact of destabilizing factors, including the pandemic, on the structural transformation of the economy. The recommendations for the implementation of advanced technologies in the domestic economy are substantiated and the directions of structural transformations in the agro-food sector, industry and the service sector are identified.
