The purpose of the work is to analyze the features of the main characteristics of the tuberculosis process in patients with markers of herpes infection and to determine the variants of the syndrome of violation of anti-infective protection in children with tuberculosis and herpes virus infections. Research methods: clinical, immunological, serological, mathematical and statistical. Developed criteria for the risk of tuberculosis progression, the use of which allows to increase the accuracy of predicting the risk of the development of a local form of tuberculosis in children with latent tuberculosis and herpes virus co-infection by 35.7% and to identify contingents that require additional examination, preventive treatment and dynamic observation by a pediatric phthisiologist in order to prevent progression of tuberculosis. A method of determining the effectiveness of the complex treatment of comorbid conditions of tuberculosis-herpesvirus infections is proposed, which allows to establish individual changes in the cytokine balance of the body, which reflect the depth of the formation of the inflammatory process and the effectiveness of complex anti-tuberculosis treatment.
