The purpose of the work: improvement of the method of evaluation of the breeding material of soybeans for stability and plasticity according to the manifestation of macro-characteristics and the creation of high-yielding early-maturing and medium-maturing varieties resistant to abiotic factors. Research methods: hybridization, plant selection, field and laboratory, production testing, statistical analysis. The main results of the research:In the selection nurseries of all levels, the initial selection material that corresponds to the parameters of the task has been created. Based on three-year data, breeding numbers were evaluated for economic and valuable characteristics. Their indicators of stability and plasticity in terms of productivity were determined. In the competitive variety test, a number of highly productive selection numbers were selected based on a combination of high productivity and optimal duration of the vegetation period: ultra-early - numbers 120-14 (duration of the vegetation period up to 100 days, grain yield 3.45 t/ha) and 530-19 (up to 100 days, 2.96 t/ha); early-ripening - numbers 120-14 (110 days, 3.83 t/ha) and 198-18 (110 days, 3.49 t/ha), medium-ripening - numbers 756-18 and 232-18 (less than 125 days, productivity 4 .06 and 3.78 t/ha, respectively). In the control nursery, 250 selection numbers were studied, from which a number of the best with a grain yield above 4.0 t/ha were selected: 637-21, 900-21, 725-17, 867-21, 868-21.
