Lazaryan popup.description2  The purpose of the work is the development and implementation of a device for safe closing of doors, which will provide passengers with the safety of boarding and disembarking from motor-car rolling stock. The types of rolling stock operated on domestic railways and their main systems of safe operation were considered. According to the available sample, the design and principle of operation of the OSE (Optical Safety Edge) system were considered. The calculation of the LED receiver OSE-R 1101 was carried out. As a result of the calculations, it was established that the efficiency is both approximate and specified (E1 = 4.78 lm/W and E2 = 6.5 lm/W). The theoretical calculation of the injection of the main carriers in LEDs was considered and the calculation of the LED resistor (R = 270 Ohm) was given. Scientific results: A device for safe closing of rolling stock doors has been developed. Scientific novelty. A method and a basic electrical diagram of a device for recognizing an object in a vehicle door opening have been developed. Practical significance. The results of the work meet the requirements for rolling stock used for passenger transportation on trans-European conventional rail systems and trans-European high-speed rail systems.
