The defined criteria, while taking into account the purpose of land management, peculiarities of development of land management documentation and provisions of Directive 2001/42/EC, provide an opportunity to comprehensively and qualitatively assess their impact on the environment in the short, medium and long term. The criteria cover the main components of the strategic environmental assessment of land management documentation, namely: soils, climate and air quality, surface and groundwater, flora and fauna species and habitats, landscape, and human health.
